Star Vortex

Humanity is fighting wars on all fronts only to be ambushed by a new enemy.  As a combat pilot, you must protect the mothership and escort it back to Earth to warn them of this new threat. Upgrade your ship, salvage ancient technology, and turn the enemy's weapons against them.

About

Star Vortex is a hobby project I've been working on in my free time for years, trying to combine my love of single-player space shooters with classic ARPG item systems and skill trees.

I'm a solo-developer and almost all of the project is made by myself. You can build your ship from scratch using pre-defined parts, collect items, and come up with unique builds and synergies.

The demo is available below and we're looking to enter Early Access in Q3 2025.

Once near completion, I'm hoping to sell the game for a small one-time cost (on PC only to begin with). I'll continue to update it and hopefully release it cross-platform.
